Monoglass® is a spray applied, non-combustible thermal and acoustic insulation material. Since 1979 Monoglass® has been the leading spray applied glass fiber insulation in North America.

Monoglass® Insulation provides architects and building owners with a solution to difficult to insulate areas. Monoglass® can be applied to concrete, steel, wood, glass, gypsum, fireproofing or other insulation materials. It can be sprayed to a depth of 5" / 125mm on to almost any surface configuration to achieve an R-20 without need for mechanical support.

The Solution for Hard-to-Insulate Areas

With an R-value of 4.00/inch, installations of R-20 overhead, or R-28 on vertical surfaces can be applied quickly and easily in one pass without costly, slow layering or mechanical support. Monoglass® combines soft glass fibers and polymer adhesive to create a non-combustible, non-toxic, insulation that can be quickly spray applied to virtually any surface or configuration. Monoglass is applied by trained applicators using approved equipment, ensuring quality control and consistency.

Sound Control Solutions

Sound control in the environment has become absolutely necessary in a complex society, be it where we work, live or play. Cotton-like Monoglass® Spray-On is non-combustible and exceeds older, inefficient, non-permanent systems without increasing construction costs.

Noise Reduction Coefficient - NRC
Monoglass provides solutions for sound attenuation control within a confined space such as auditoriums, gymnasiums, factories and schools.

Sound Transmission Class – STC
Monoglass provides solutions for sound levels between spaces such as between suites in multiple tenancy buildings, condominiums, townhouses and office buildings.

In addition to having high STC and NRC ratings, Monoglass is pneumatically applied, which helps seal cracks and holes in drywall, fills voids normally left by batt insulations, and seals around plumbing and electrical outlets to prevent sound ‘leaks’.
